# GENE Tokenomics

UPDATE: 12/9/2022 Due to market conditions, a majority of SAFT holders, lead investors, and the Founders agreed to extend the vesting period an additional year to receive tokens from the private sale. As an act of solidarity, Founders will also be extending their token vesting an additional year to a 4 year vest.
