Design

The basic rules of the Genopet's staking program are as follows:

• Every staking deposit must be locked for a period of time

• The staker can select the lock period

• The longer the lock period, the more bonus rewards can be earned

• GENE rewards are locked for one year by default

• GENE rewards can be withdrawn unlocked as sGENE, which can be used in-game

• When governance voting is enabled, the voting weight is determined by the amount of lock period left in the staking deposit
