# Components

Habitats have 2 functional components: 

1. **Laboratory**: This is the research building which can be used for various crafting functions, such as refining Genotype Crystals or Alchemizing items.
2. **Portal**: Activates world map. (Coming Soon!)

In addition, each Habitat possesses a unique blend of aesthetic foliage, element-specific formations, and a lamp!
